It’s the beginning of a new year, and we’re happy to report that 2017 was a great year for business at Good Sounds! So great, in fact, that we are now looking to hire an additional team member to help us complete some of our upcoming custom audiovisual installation and design projects throughout Orange County.
The growth in our business has come about, in part, because of some newly formed relationships with residential builders in Orange County. We have been working with them to provide their clients with some amazing smart home features and home theaters, and we have been finding that we could use some additional help in the area of custom residential AV installation for our Orange County clients.
Because we want to maintain the standard of excellence that has been synonymous with the name Good Sounds for more than 30 years, we are looking to hire an individual with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the residential AV industry. He or she will be familiar not only with custom AV installation, but also with AV design, and should be able to read and understand system drawings and schematics. The ability to troubleshoot equipment, connections, and systems is also important for this position. We will give preference to applicants with a CEDIA certification, but it is not required.
In addition to being experienced, applicants should also be self-motivated, as the position requires that the technician will often work independently in the homes of our residential customers. We’re looking for someone who can take a scope of work, a company truck, and head out to a job without needing a lot of guidance or supervision. He or she should be efficiency-minded and driven, and be able to complete a project to the high standards of our company and our clients.
Because this position also requires that the individual interact directly with our Orange County clients, it is necessary that an applicant understands the importance of conducting him or herself in a professional manner, maintaining good customer relationships, and providing excellent customer service.
